Services at Fieldfare Therapy
01.
Psychotherapeutic counselling provides a confidential and consistent space where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind, explore your experiences and develop a greater understanding of yourself.
My Approach and Experience
My approach is pluralistic and person-centred, which means that sessions are shaped around you as an individual. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and tools, tailoring sessions to meet your unique needs, goals, and circumstances.
We will work at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we can gently explore your experiences, thoughts and emotions, supporting reflection, personal growth and meaningful change.
I have experience working with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and have supported individuals dealing with issues including (but not limited to):-
-
Anxiety and stress
-
Low self-esteem and confidence
-
Depression and low mood
-
Relationship and family difficulties
-
Grief and loss
-
Life transitions and identity questions
-
The impact of past experiences, trauma or abuse
What to Expect from Counselling
Starting counselling can sometimes feel daunting, and I aim to offer compassionate and steady support throughout your journey. In our initial sessions, we will explore what has brought you to therapy, what you would like from our work together, and which approaches may feel most supportive. These can be reviewed and adapted at any time.
My role is to walk alongside you, offering gentle reflection and thoughtful questions to support insight, self-awareness and choice.

Duration of Counselling
The length of counselling varies from person to person. Some clients attend for a shorter period to focus on a specific issue, while others choose longer-term therapy to explore deeper or more complex concerns. We will regularly review your progress together to ensure the work continues to meet your needs.
Ending therapy is an important part of the process, and this will always be discussed and planned collaboratively. Some clients also find occasional ‘check in’ sessions helpful in addressing new challenges, and these can be arranged if needed.
02.
Hypnotherapy is always guided by your consent, and you remain aware and in control throughout. My role is to support you in accessing your own inner resources to create positive and meaningful change.
My Approach and Experience
I offer hypnotherapy within a calm, supportive and confidential space. I take a holistic, compassionate and collaborative approach, recognising that each person’s experiences, challenges and goals are unique. I work with empathy and without judgement, supporting
you to feel safe, relaxed and in control throughout our work together.
I take time to listen carefully and understand what you would like to achieve, ensuring that each session is tailored to your individual needs. Hypnotherapy is always approached at a pace that feels right for you, with your consent and comfort at the centre of the process.
Hypnotherapy can be a powerful and effective tool for supporting positive change. Clients may choose hypnotherapy to help with:-
-
Anxiety, stress and overwhelm
-
Fears and phobias
-
Unwanted habits and patterns
-
Intrusive or negative thoughts
-
Building self-confidence and self-belief

Some clients also find occasional ‘top up’ hypnotherapy sessions helpful for addressing new challenges or reinforcing positive changes, and these can be arranged whenever required.

Guided relaxation provides a gentle way to unwind, rest and reconnect with your body and mind.
Each session guides you through simple breathing and body relaxation techniques, using calming imagery based on peaceful natural settings, such as a tranquil beach or a forest.
The aim is not to completely clear your mind or achieve anything specific, but to allow yourself time and space to relax and simply be.
No prior experience is required. All you need to take part is a quiet space and a comfortable seat or mat.
